Books are Often the Perfect Keepsake Gift!

One of our favorite collections at The Briar Patch is our book collection. Once we offered our favorite books for sale online, but now we only sell books through our storefront shop. Our collection consists of beautifully illustrated children's stories, quality hardback volumes of the classics, and even vintage hardback classics.

The appeal of books is timeless, timeless from the date they are given and timeless in the years beyond presentation through which they are enjoyed again and again. A special book will become part of a library to be appreciated as a story and an object.

We feel books are wonderful gifts for flower girls, birthdays, graduation and cotillion celebrations, even for a special performance or recital. They are beautiful things easily left under a pillow on a special day...to be found in the morning or at bedtime.

A beautiful book does need to be wrapped, simply tie a pretty ribbon around the volume! The many affordable volumes of classics on the market today are made to resemble the leather volumes of days gone by and often have gorgeous illustrations inside, sometimes even on the cover of the volume.

Many classic books tell stories of life celebrations, making them perfect flower girl or ring bearer gifts. Consider Little Women or Little Men. There is also Anne of Green Gables, The Little House on the Prairie Volumes, Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farms, and all of Mark Twains satirical adventures.
