What IS the Difference Between a Full Suit for Boys and a Tuxedo for Boys?
One of the first things an observer will notice about the differences between a tuxedo and a full suit is the shirt. A tuxedo shirt can be ruffled or pleated and the shirt that comes with a full suit will be flat and plain in the front. Another difference is that the jacket lapels on a suit will be the same material as the rest of the suit, while the lapels on a tuxedo will be satin. Suits will not have satin stripes on the outside of the pant leg, but tuxedo pants may, and the shoes worn for a suit will be sensible and less dress, whereas the shoes worn with a tuxedo will always be shiny dress shoes. Also, tuxedos are worn to more formal events and suits can be worn even casually or in a less formal setting.
