  • Please email us immediately once you are aware you require a RETURN or EXCHANGE of merchandise. RETURNS require a RETURN AUTHORIZATION Number (RA Number). EXCHANGES ONLY may receive a prepaid return label for the returning merchandise, the exchange shipping back to you is also free of charge. There is a limit of one free exchange per order.

  • FOR EXCHANGES: Please email us at brpatch@sbcglobal.net for a prepaid return postage label. Upon approval, an email will arrive Within 3 business days containing a link to a prepaid USPS shipping label. Email us also for an RA Number on items returning for refund.
    When you email us for a prepaid return label, advise us also of what you require in exchange for your original item/s. We will begin processing your exchange once the prepaid return label is requested. Exchanges do not require an RA Number, only the prepaid return shipping label.
    PLEASE NOTE: For orders of $249.00 and greater, a portion of the return shipping fee on exchanges will be charged or deducted from credits due:
    $250.00 to $349.00........$10.00 exchange shipping
    $350.00 to $449.00........$15.00 exchange shipping
    $450.00 to $500.00........$20.00 exchange shipping
    over $500.00..............$40.00 exchange shipping


    FOR RETURNS: Please email us at brpatch@sbcglobal.net for an RA Number. Once approved, we will respond to your email with an RA Number. This number needs to be written on the outside of your return packaging. Be sure to mail your items back to us for refund within 30 days of receipt and BEFORE the event date given on the orginal order. You may mail your items back to us as convenient for you. Shipping for returns is at the customer's expense. THE FREE SHIPPING OFFERED AS A COURTESY FOR YOUR PURCHASE IS DEDUCTED FROM YOUR CREDIT FOR RETURNED MERCHANDISE.

    *Orders of multiple items where one or a few of the total items ordered are exchanged, but the rest returned, are considered RETURNS. Free shipping is not applicable to these returns.


    The shipping program we use requires that a return shipping label for EXCHANGE be printed within 24 hours of the time when the email is generated and mailed. Be sure to check your emails carefully after requesting a return mailing label . The postage is charged to The Briar Patch at the time of email generation and we cannot resend your return mailing label. Prepaid return labels may be mailed from a stamps.com email address.

  • Activate (by clicking) the link to your return postage label, it will open in your internet browser program. Then print and attach it to your return box. We cannot open unidentified packages for concern of the safety of our staff, so return packages must have one of our prepaid labels or an RA number requested through email for packages returned at the customer's expense.

  • Return items must be mailed within 10 days of the email date for your USPS postage paid return label. After 10 days, the prepaid postage label is no longer valid. You then assume responsibility for return mailing expense. Again, this is the requirement of the shipping system we use.
  • Include your return form inside the package. Return forms arrive in the package with your original order.

  • We are not responsible for any items lost or damaged in shipping, if you wish to insure against damage, you will need to purchase insurance.

  • If a prepaid label is used for merchandise return, and not an exchange, the total cost of the prepaid shipping label is deducted from the credit amount applied to purchasing card.
  • All return merchandise must meet the following criteria or else they will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense:

    1. All items returned are received in new & pristine condition, not worn nor altered. Urgent orders requiring 2-Day Air, drop shipment or Overnight delivery are not eligible for refund, only store credit or exchange.

    2. Each item must maintain its original tags as affixed by the retailer and also all accessories.

    3. Merchandise must be considerately packaged to minimize creasing and prevent damage during transit. Items poorly packaged and severely creased or soiled will cause a deduction in refund amounts to cover repair and restoration.

    4. There may be no violation of return procedure and policy.
    Returns will be refused if received by this retailer after 30 days from recorded delivery date. Our intention is to maintain new and pristine inventory for all cusotmers. Returns are not accepted if post marked after the event date as given on the original order form.

    **NOTE: If you did not receive an order confirmation through email immediately after your original order was placed, please check your spam folder for that confirmation. If your order confirmation remains in a spam folder, the email with your prepaid shipping label and RA number will also route to spam.
