It only makes sense that a company selling beautiful items for children and families is concerned with keeping our world beautiful as well. To this end, whenever possible, we use packing materials that are earth friendly.

Our tissue paper is 100% recycled paper fiber content. Our boxes are all pre-used or made of recycled content as well (such is the case with Priority Mail boxes). So, you may receive your perfect purchases in a less than perfect box; but we feel you will agree a step towards a perfect planet is worth it! Boxes arriving at The Briar Patch that are too damaged for re-use are taken to our local recycling center. Even our bottles and cans of beverages enjoyed in the rec room are recycled.

Plastic hangers are given to our local thrift stores, one supports the Humane Society and the other benefits our Family Crisis Center. Any stock that is not sold for reduced price at our shop is donated to the Children's Advocacy Center or to our Family Crisis Center.

Whenever possible, our cleaning supplies and fabric treatment products are also green products that are non-irritating to both our clients and our planet.
