Please note that dress specific measurements are of the GARMENT AND NOT THE CHILD. This means room should be considered so the item is not skin tight. For general sizing information, consult the first link below, "Industry Standard Sizing Chart for Girls". This chart reflects the measurements of the child, not the garment. Another extremely general guideline is to select the size one above the child's age (for example, a size 6 for a 5 year old).
